The process, in a nutshell

At Craft Society, everything starts with the creative process. In this 1st step, we tap into our inspiration muses to come up with a candle recipe.

The recipe is always built around a story - we love those. Our stories are inspired by season celebration and aesthetics.

Next up, there is a lot of testing carried out, to ensure the recipe is stable, the scent is excellent, and the product's quality is consistent.

After testing, we create a design for the candle, including labels and packaging.

Once we present the candle to you, an ongoing process of collecting feedback begins. We value your opinion, so feel free to reach out.

What makes us special

Three things make us special:

1. The ingredients we use to make our candles, from wax to jars and everything in between, are of impeccable quality. We make sure of that by constantly testing and researching.

2. The scents we create are meant to evoke memories, create spaces, spark your imagination, or immerse you in stories inspired by seasons and aesthetics.

3. Your experience with Craft Society is our top priority. As such, we strive to offer top-notch customer experience in all our interactions with you.

Candle care

At Craft Society, we are dedicated to providing you with beautifully scented candles. To ensure your safety and to extend the life of our candles, we have outlined the following Candle Care & Safety Policy. Following these guidelines will ensure you have a wonderful and safe experience with our products.

Before Lighting

Placement: Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable items such as curtains, books, and paper products.

Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4-inch (0.6 cm) to prevent soot build-up and prolonged flame height.

Keep it Clean: Ensure the wax pool is free of any debris including used matchsticks and wick trimmings.

While Burning

Supervision: Always keep a burning candle within sight and never leave it unattended.

Safe Distance: Maintain a safe distance between burning candles. We recommend placing them at least 3 inches apart (8 cm).

No Draft Zone: Keep candles away from drafts, vents, and air currents to prevent uneven burning and potential flare-ups.

Keep Away from Children & Pets: Ensure that candles are kept out of reach of children and pets at all times.

Burn Time: To prevent overheating, do not burn candles for more than 3 hours at a time.

Extinguishing Your Candle

Use a Snuffer: Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame to prevent hot wax from splattering.

Cooling Time: Allow the candle to cool completely before moving it or re-lighting it.

Refrain from Blowing Out: Avoid blowing out the candle as this can cause hot wax to splatter and the wick to smoke.

Candle Storage

Cool, Dry Place: Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent discoloration and warping.

Upright Position: Always store candles in an upright position to prevent warping and potential damage.

General Safety Tips

Emergency Situations: In case of any emergency, extinguish the candle immediately and vacate the premises if necessary.

Educate Everyone: Make sure all members of your household are aware of this Candle Care & Safety Policy.

We encourage you to always use caution and common sense when burning candles. Adhering to these guidelines will not only enhance your experience but will also ensure the longevity of your candles. Thank you for choosing Craft Society. We wish you a warm and fragrant candlelit experience, filled with peace and joy.
