What are wax melts?

Wax melts are pieces of scented wax that can be warmed to release fragrance into the air. Our melts have 25g of scented wax, with the exact ingredients of their candle counterparts. You can buy our wax melts in sets of 3, each melt representing 1 scent from one of our scented candles.

A way to test our scents

Every scented candle we produce comes in a wax melt format, too. If you are not ready to buy a full scented candle just yet, give our wax melts a try. We combine our wax melt sets with scents from one collection. For example, the Dark Academia candle collection has its own wax melt set, made up of 3 distinct scents from 3 different Dark Academia scented candles.

How to use wax melts

Wax warmer

To make use of a wax melt, you need a wax warmer. They usually come in two forms: 1) standard - for tea candles, or 2) electric. The wax warmer in the picture is the standard one. Place a tea light candle inside the warmer, place a scented wax melt in the reservoir on top and then light the candle. It won't be long until the wax begins to melt, releasing its scent.

Why are wax melts popular?

  • You can avoid open flames and still enjoy an olfactory experience.
  • You can avoid flames and soot altogether if you use an electric wax warmer.
  • As is the case with scented candles, you can rewarm the wax to enjoy its fragrance multiple times.

Tips

Melted wax can be hot, especially if you are using a non-electric wax warmer. The wax warmer can also become hot. Always follow the safety instructions you receive with your Craft Society package.
